How Home Décor Bloggers Use CS Hardware Products In DIY Projects

CSH Loves DIY

There was a time not too long ago when home décor updates and home renovations seemed to be the result of a mysterious and costly process involving expert contractors, expensive materials, and an unending, ever-expanding timeline. Thanks to the proliferation of online educational sources and the explosive growth of media outlets such as HGTV, the notion of “experts only” for home renovation has been replaced with a do-it-yourself mentality. Every day, more and more people are learning the skills to plan, develop, and execute complex projects in their home on their own.

By focusing on creative use of materials, keeping costs low, and doing a lot of the work themselves, this new type of home decorator is revolutionizing the industry – and many who want to share their knowledge have taken to the Internet to share their experience with the home décor/DIY blogosphere. At Custom Service Hardware, we support home renovations of all sizes and scopes, and we love to hear about projects completed by experts, amateurs, and everyone in between.

Here are a few of our favorite stories from bloggers who have used CSH’s products to add unique, stylish, and functional components to their home.

Beneath My Heart: Traci and her husband built their own custom door to hang with our Black Bowie Single Rolling Door Kit in their entryway to the mudroom. The detail and style of their handcrafted white door is highlighted beautifully by strong black hardware, which allows the door to be closed quickly and easily at any time.

Dengarden: Viriginia chose our RTA (ready-to-assemble) Tuscany Series Cabinets for her kitchen renovation project after frustrating experiences with other more expensive products. Because her RTA kitchen cabinets were so reasonably priced, easy to install, and high-quality, she chose to add pantry cabinets for storage in the laundry room, craft room, and living room as well.

The Space Between: Karah used our Bronze Plato Single Rolling Door Kit to add a sliding door to the master bathroom in her small home. It was important for her to maximize the floorplan and highlight her beautifully upcycled aqua blue French doors, so she chose simple hardware in a dark bronze color.

I Heart Organizing: Jen is obsessed with organizing her home, and is especially passionate about keeping her heavily used kitchen in order. One of her favorite things in her kitchen is the roll-out shelves in her cabinets which give her full access to everything stored there, including items in the back of the cabinet.

Mommy Ramblings: Carolyn chose our RTA (ready-to-assemble) Wheaton Series Cabinets for her laundry room in order to keep costs down without sacrificing style. The 2 units were easy to install and featured solid all-wood construction in beautiful cream painted maple for a soft, traditional look.

We’re impressed by how creative and beautiful these projects are, and we’re pleased people around the world are using Custom Service Hardware products to renovate, update, and personalize their home.
